PRICING
At The Mobile Vet Company we aim to be fair, competitive and transparent in our pricing. We are proud of our independence, and have no affiliation to any of the large corporations that own many of the veterinary practices in the UK.
Below, we have set out the prices of some of our more common services. You will note that the base cost of a consultation is higher than you will find at most ordinary veterinary practices. This is because we devote much more time and resource to each appointment. Vets at traditional practices may allocate just a few minutes per appointment and see two or three times as many pets as we do in a typical day. In travelling to your home we are able to offer a much more personal service, giving you and your pet as much time as you need.
You will find that in many cases, our fees for medication and treatment are lower than most veterinary practices. This is because we don’t have the overheads of a traditional bricks and mortar practice, and we are able to pass those savings on to you.
